Phylogeny of pterosaurs

The following classification of pterosaurs is to give an overview of all valid genera of Mesozoic reptiles. It is based on a work of paleontologist David M. Unwin from the year 2006. Since genera (not yet complete) described are referenced by individual receipts. The " long-tailed pterosaurs ( Rhamphorhynchoidea ) " are no longer listed as a taxon because of their paraphyly.
