Pielavesi

Pielavesi [ piɛlɑvɛsi ] is a municipality in the Finnish Savo region, with 4928 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). It is located in the west of the countryside Savo 52 km southwest of Iisalmi and 75 kilometers north- west of Kuopio. History

1683 a chapel of the parish Iisalmi was founded in Pielavesi.
