Plitvička Jezera

Plitvice Jezera [ plitʋitʃka Jezera ] ( German Plitvice Lakes ) is a municipality in Croatia, which includes numerous smaller towns, and the Plitvice Lakes National Park. The community Plitvice Jezera is situated in central Croatia in Lika -Senj at the important National Highway 1, which runs from Karlovac to Zadar on the Adriatic Sea.

The Plitvice Lakes municipality was assumed in the former Yugoslavia in the community Korenica ( which also includes the municipality Udbina belonged ). Since 1997 Korenica is no longer a separate municipality, but the seat of the combined municipality the Plitvice Lakes.
