Plounéventer

Plounéventer ( Gwineventer Breton ) is a commune with 2003 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Finistère in the Brittany region. It belongs to the Communauté de communes Local Government Association du Pays de Landivisiau.

Location

The municipality is located in the north- west of Brittany 15 km south of the English Channel coast. The major city and port of Brest located 24 kilometers south-west, Morlaix 29 km east of Paris and about 480 kilometers east (in straight line ).

Infrastructure

In Landivisiau and Landerneau there are runs on the highway E 50 Brest- Rennes and regional stations in the predominantly parallel railway line. The train station of Brest is the end of TGV Atlantique to Paris and the airport is Aéroport de Brest Brittany, near Brest is the nearest regional airport. The military airfield Landivisiau lies partially on the territory of the municipality.
