Podkopná Lhota

Podkopná Lhota ( German Lhotta Podkopná, 1939-1945 Landing ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers north of Slušovice and belongs to Okres Zlín.

Geography

Podkopná Lhota is located in the Host One of mountains in the valley of the brook Kopna. To the north rises the Humenec (703 m), in the northeast of Vysoký Grúň (658 m) and the Vápenky (552 m ) east of the Drabkův vrch ( 475 m), the South East Skalky (476 m ) south of Nad Bařinami (534 m) in the southwest of Haje (509 m), the west Sýkornice ( 584 m) and in the northwest the Kopna (675 m). The village is situated in the natural park Hostýnské mountains.

Neighboring towns are Zara in the north, Hostalkova in the northeast, Dvořisko in the east, Trnava in the southeast, U Vaculů in the south, U BACU and Kašava the southwest, Bily Kopeček and Vlčková in the west and Hruby Les, Na Kopné, Držková, Količko, Nivky and Lhoty in the northwest.

Plenty of half of the community consists of forest corridors, a further substantial proportion occupy meadows. The proportion of arable land is 2%.

History

The village was probably founded during colonization in the 13th century. The first written mention of the village belonging to the reign Luckow Lhota took place in 1512. Gepfarrt was the village at that time by Želechovice, later it came to the parish Kašava. Owner of the domain Lukov were among others in the 16th century the Nekesch Landek. Lucretia of Witschkow, born Nekesch Landek, which had in 1607 inherited the reign, married in 1609 Albrecht of Wallenstein. Lhota consisted in 1612 of nine properties, among which were two farmers and five gardeners. 1625 Waldstein Lukov came from with all the accessories to the Emperor, who handed over the rule to Stephan Schmidt of free Mayrhofen. 1628 From this acquired the Minkwitz of Minkwitzburg the now heavily indebted government. The name changed several times. 1671, the village was called Lhota Podkopnj, 1672 as Lhotka and 1718 Lhotta Podkoppny. The additive is derived from the position of the settlement from below the mountain Kopna. 1710 bought the Lords of Rottalblick Lukov. John of Rottalblick sold the goods in 1724 to Johann Friedrich von Seilern - Aspang, whose descendants held the property until the expropriation in 1945. The oldest town seal is from 1744. It shows a man with cylinder and carries the inscription PECZET. (OB) CE. LHOTECKÉ. 1744th From 1751 the place name Lhota Podkopnj is handed again. The inhabitants lived from agriculture, where despite the harsh climate of the orchards dominated. Until the mid-19th century, the village remained subservient ever after Lukov.

After the abolition of patrimonial Lhota / Lhotta formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Uherský Brod. As of 1855, the village belonged to the district Vizovice and from 1868 to the district Holešov. In 1872, the community was called Podkopná Lhota / Lhotta Podkopná. 1935 Podkopná Lhota was assigned to the Zlín Region. During the German occupation the church was given the name of Germany under muzzle. From 1949 Podkopná Lhota belonged to Okres Gottwaldov - okolí and again from 1960 to Okres Gottwaldov that since 1990 once again bears the name Okres Zlín after the political changes of 1989. Between 1961 and 1969 Podkopná Lhota was affiliated with a congregation Trnava Trnava Podkopná Lhota.

From local club motorsport MTK Podkopná Lhota Rally Sprint Kopna is organized annually.

Podkopná Lhota leads a coat of arms, the two crossed silver Aststücke each with a centrally located thereon and sloe standing in between, a silver sword shows on a blue background.
