Police Academy 5 - Contract Miami Beach is an American feature film from the year 1988 he is the fifth part of the series.. The remaining main characters are adept at a police convention in Miami, where Commandant Lassard to be honored as "Policeman of the Decade" before it has to retire due to age.

Action

Harris, a district manager, would like to inherit from Eric Lassard as head of the Police Academy. In a solemn event, all police officers involved in the rescue (with the exception of Proctor and Harris) awarded a Medal of the City of Miami. Furthermore, Sergeant Moses Hightower is transported for his selfless efforts in the rescue of Harris to the Lieutenant. Commissioner Hurst is pleased to announce that he has decided together with the Governor, that Commandant Lassard only then must retire if he wishes to do so themselves. Criticism

Of the critics the series from the beginning was negatively received, but also fans of the show displeases mostly the strong change in the style of the film and the lack of sympathy carrier Mahoney. All this is also reflected in the general assessment of the film.
