Poplar is a municipality ( with a status of "Village" ) in Douglas County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. In 2010, Poplar had 603 inhabitants.
Poplar is part of the nationwide multi-state metropolitan Twin Ports around the cities of Superior and Duluth, Minnesota.
Geography
The municipality is located in northwestern Wisconsin near Lake Superior, the largest of the five Great Lakes of North America.
