Portugalete

Portugalete is a town in the Spanish Basque Country ( province of Biscay ).

Portugalete has 47 233 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2013 ) on a city area of ​​3 km ². Portugalete is located northwest of the provincial capital of Bilbao to the Bilbao estuary, the navigable for seagoing mouth of the river Nervión in the Bay of Biscay, and belongs to the circle (Spanish comarca, bask.
