Prague Stock Exchange

The Prague Stock Exchange (Czech: Burza cenných papíru Praha ) is a stock exchange in Prague and a subsidiary of the CEE Stock Exchange Group. It was founded on 24 November 1992 and is the main organizer for the stock market in the Czech Republic. The trading of shares on the Prague Stock Exchange is based on a membership, which means that only authorized dealers have access to the trading system.

The Austrian Erste Bank was established on 1 October 2002, the first foreign listed companies. The Prague Stock Exchange was automatically a full member of FESE by Czech membership in the EU on 1 May 2004.

The Prague Stock Exchange has been one December 9, 2008 the majority ( 92.4 %) of the Vienna Stock Exchange or the CEE Stock Exchange Group.
