Pravenec

Pravenec ( German small samples, Hungarian Kispróna ) is a municipality in Slovakia.

The place is located in the northern reaches of the Upper Nitra boiler ( Hornonitrianska kotlina ) at the western foot of the mountains Žiar left side of the Aufschwemmungskegels the Nitra River. The municipal area extends between 301-773 meters above sea level.

The village was first mentioned in writing in 1267 as Prona. To her the end to be my place after 1808 Fričova Lehota heard ( German Fritz- Lehota ).
