Prittriching ( umgspr.: Burching ) is a community in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech and a member and office of the Management Community Prittriching, to which the community belongs Scheuring.

Geography

Prittriching lies in planning Munich region. The municipality is the northernmost municipality in the district of Landsberg am Lech. It consists of the districts Prittriching and Winkl. In the west of the municipality of Lech flows.

History

A first written mention dates back to the year 1096. Prittriching belonged to Rentamt Munich and the court Landsberg of the Electorate of Bavaria.

Incorporations

On January 1, 1971, until then independent municipality Winkl was incorporated.

Economy
