Proud of the Netherlands
Trots op Nederland ( Proud of the Netherlands, SOUND or TONL ) is a right-wing populist party in the Netherlands. It was (formerly VVD) founded on October 17, 2007 by Rita Verdonk. After a while the party polls had predicted many parliamentary seats in the 2010 elections, she received not a single seat politicians in the party but were elected in the municipal elections of March 2010 in several local councils.
Formation
Verdonk from 2003 to 2007 Integration Minister in the Christian- liberal cabinet of Jan Peter Balkenende. She appeared very hard and determined and met with much criticism. A no-confidence vote by Parliament followed that she was no longer included in the Cabinet in 2007. By 2010, it was then easy MPs in Parliament.
In the right-liberal Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Démocratie she was a member since 2002. In 2006, she failed just short of the top candidate for the early parliamentary elections. Because of criticisms closed the VVD Group Verdonk from 2007, later she left the party.
Verdonk had received more individual votes than the top candidate of the VVD in the 2006 elections and a certain attachment in the population could be safe. Development from 2008 to today

Orientation
The party wants the strict enforcement of existing laws, fewer civil servants, the fight against crime and less congestion on the roads.
