Punta Umbría

Punta Umbria is a Spanish city in the province of Huelva Autonomous Community of Andalusia. On 1 January 2013 there lived 14,976 inhabitants. The city has an area of ​​38.77 km ² and a population density of 386 inhabitants. / Km ². The place is located 7 meters above sea level on a promontory between the Atlantic Ocean and the estuary of the rivers Odiel and Rio Tinto. Just north of the city, at the mouth of the rivers, lies the nature park Odiel Marshes, which was in 1983, declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Up to Huelva city is about 20 km (street).

Fishing and tourism dominate the city. On one hand, flow in the summer up to 70,000 tourists in the city, to recover at the four beaches of El Portil, La Bota, Enebrales and Matanegra.
