Radslavice (Vyškov District)

Radslavice ( German United Ratzlawitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers north of Vyškov and belongs to Okres Vyškov.

Geography

The street village Radslavice extends the left side of the creek Marc Hanka on Ostabfall of Drahany country. To the north is the Truppenübungsplatz Brezina. To the northwest rises the Věsperk (Meadow Mountain, 457 m). Three kilometers southeast applied to R 46 of the airfield Vyškov.

Neighboring towns are Kotáry and Podivice in the north, Zelena Hora in the northeast, Pustiměř in the east, Pustiměřské Prusy and Křižanovice u Vyškova the southeast, Vyškov, Pazderna and Dědice in the south, sídliště Víta Nejedlého, Hamiltony and Lhota in the southwest, Pařezovice and Rychtářov in the west and Véspěrk and Radslavičky in the northwest.

History

Archaeological finds indicate a Bronze Age settlement on the site of the present village, which existed until the 7th century BC. In the 8th century, was founded by located on the top Hradisko castle from a Slavic settlement. This Rundling was later expanded during the German colonization to a village road.

The first written mention of the village belonging to the reign Dědice place in the year 1381st Since 1450 a free dish is detectable in the village. In the Moravian hooves register of 1677 are reported for large Ratzlawitz 43 estate. Two of them were Dreiviertelhüfner, 25 Halbhüfner, five and eleven Viertelhüfner gardener. 1764 was built northwest of Ratzlawitz the clearing settlement Klein Ratzlawitz. After the abolition of patrimonial United Ratzlawitz / Velké Raclavice formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Wischau. 1860 a village school was opened, previously was the teaching of Dědice and then in Pustiměř. For the einklassige village school, a new school building was inaugurated in 1868, which was attended by 170 students. At the end of the 19th century the village was referred to as Hrubé Raclavice. 1898 moved the school to a new building, which allowed for a dual-class school system. Because of the increasing number of students took place at the beginning of the school year 1912/13, the three-class lessons. Since 1925, the municipality bears the name Raclavice. During the German occupation in 1940 was the decision to expand the firing Wischau to a large military training area of the Wehrmacht. Among the 33 for the setting up of the training area Wischau to -clearing villages, a total of 43 in Moravia, was among the first, to October 31, 1941 to be implemented stage, including large and small Ratzlawitz. In 1950 the merger of the municipalities Radslavice and Radslavičky. The community consisted of 156 houses and had 536 inhabitants. In 1957, the nursery was set up. On 1 January 2008 the municipality had 434 inhabitants. 35 houses are mainly Brno citizens as a holiday home.
