Ramon Arguelles

Ramon Cabrera Arguelles ( born November 12, 1944 in Batangas City ) is Archbishop of Lipa.

Life

Ramon Cabrera Arguelles received on 21 December 1969, the ordination. John Paul II appointed him on 26 November 1993 titular bishop of Ros Cré and Auxiliary Bishop of Manila.

He received his episcopal consecration, the Pope personally on January 17 of next year; Co-consecrators were Giovanni Battista Re, substitute of the Secretariat of State, and Josip Uhač, secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples.

On August 25, 1995, he was appointed Military Bishop of the Philippines. On 14 May 2004 he was appointed Archbishop of Lipa and introduced into the office on July 16 of the same year.
