Rapoon

Rapoon from Newcastle upon Tyne, England, is the musical solo project of Robin Storey, a former member of Zoviet France. His music is attributed to the post-industrial and the ethno -ambient.

Band History

In 1992, Storey left Zoviet France to embark as a solo artist with the project name Rapoon new musical paths. The name comes from the Rapoon little nephew of Storey, he had his first name Robin pronounced as Ra - Poon After his departure from Zoviet France Robin Storey published in the same year his debut album, Dream Circle, which had already been established in previous years.

Robin Storey writes his music alone. Sometimes he is assisted by singers such as the Moroccan Kuadija Mohammed or the opera singer Vicki Bain.
