The Trambulina Valea Cărbunării is a ski jump facility and is located at the southern outskirts of Rasnov ( Rosenau ) in the district of Brasov in Romania. The complex includes two small jumps in the category K 15, K 35, a medium hill the category K 64 (HS 71) and a normal hill category K 90 (HS 100). All jumps are covered with mats.

History

In 1936 there was the first ski jump in Rasnov. From July 2009 to August 2011 were made on a steep slope terrain three kilometers southeast of the city center, in Valea Carbunarii, three youth jumps categories K 64, K 35 and K 15 for the 2013 taking place here European Youth Olympic Festival. On 30 August 2011, the training operation was launched on the hills with the Romanian ski jumping team. On June 9, 2012, the ski jumping facility with a FIS Cup was officially opened. In the summer of 2011 began the construction of a K 90 (HS 100) normal hill, it was in October 2012 with the whole jumping facility ready and since there are four hills, two judges towers, floodlights and a lift.

The project is financed by the Romanian Ministry of Tourism and Regional Development and the Austrian oil company OMV.
