Rati Aleksidse (Georgian რატი ალექსიძე; born August 3, 1978 in Tbilisi ) is a Georgian football player. He is currently Gyori ETO FC in Hungary under contract.

Club career

Start time

Aleksidse began his career in the youth of Dinamo Tbilisi. In the 1994/95 season he signed the second division Mretebi Tbilisi his first professional contract. In Mretebi he became the valuable complement to the former star of the team Mikheil Sadschaia and was able to celebrate the end of the season the champion in the second Georgian League and the associated rise.

Then he was brought back from his hometown club Dinamo. Despite his playful versatility, he could for the time being at the former " non plus ultra" of the Georgian football not prevail against the established offensive forces, such as Aleksandre Iaschwili, Giorgi Demetradse or Gocha Dschamarauli. Only after the disposal of Iaschwili for season 1996/97 he made his debut for Dinamo's first team. Move to Chelsea

He completed only nine games without scoring before he was involved in a serious car accident, from which he never recovered over three years. Comeback

In the 2007 /08 season Aleksidse was a surprising comeback for Locomotive Tbilisi. The big doubts about his physical condition, he answered with a sensational rate of nine goals in his first season eleven appearances by nearly three -year hiatus. After a further 13 games he was able to achieve six goals in 2008, he moved once again abroad to Hungary Gyori ETO FC to. In Győr he instantly won a regular place and became one of the leading players of the team.
