The Rauhenebrach predominantly flows in an easterly direction through the towns Michelau im Steigerwald ( district of Schweinfurt ), Rauhenebrach ( county Haßberge ), Schönbrunn im Steigerwald, Burgebrach, Frensdorf and Pettstadt (all district of Bamberg ), where he reached from the left the Regnitz.
