Real Estate (band)

Real Estate is an American indie rock band from Ridgewood (New Jersey ), but whose members work in Brooklyn and live.

History

The band, which was founded in 2009, already published her first album, which bears the same name as the band itself in the year of inception. The album was well received by several music critics and received, among others at Pitchfork a 8.5 -point rating. According to Metacritic, the album was rated with an average of 79 out of 100.

After the publication of On the Reality EP also appeared before the band went on tour and performed, among others, as the opening act for Kurt Vile and Deerhunter. 2010 Real Estate has also been seen on the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago and the San Miguel Primavera Sound in Barcelona.

In 2011, Domino Records, the band under contract and those published on October 18, their second album, Days. Also this was consistently posititve reviews and was slightly better than the first book reviewed by Pitchfork: It received a 8.7 rating.
