Rebeka Dremelj

Rebeka Dremelj ( born July 25, 1980 in Brežice ) is a Slovenian singer, fashion model, fashion designer, actress and television presenter.

Life

Even as a young woman took Rebeka Dremelj their country - in 2001 as Miss Slovenia in the competition for the Miss World. That was not true, however, led to a recording contract with Sony Records. Besides, she began to build her own fashion collection, especially for women's underwear under the brand Rebeka 's Dream. A little later she got a role in the successful, Slovenian film " Na svoji Vesni ", which led to further engagement. She was in Slovenia ( and in the former Yugoslavia ) known nationwide through roles in television series and as a presenter of television shows.

Rebeka Dremelj is well known by the Serbian composer, singer and television presenter Željko Joksimović and interpreted some of his songs. As a representative of Slovenia was naj with the song Vrag vzame sent ( To hell with it ) to the Euro Vision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade, Serbia, but never made it past the semi-finals.
