Importance

Despite their relatively early start, Red Alert! Movement were ignored to the top of Oi. This was partly due to its great distance from London, the former hub of Oi! Scene, as well as on its open anti-fascist attitude (expressed by the "Red " in the band name ). Other reasons are to be found in the permanent line-up changes and membership of brother bands like Red London. However, they are now considered legends of the English punk scene when they are perceived much more even in the non- English space.

Their style of music was nourished not only by the former " leaders " of the movement, such as Sham 69 and the Rejects, but they also took influences from the British post-punk, like The Ruts and The Clash on. In the 1990s, they switched the other hand, in addition to the pop market. Some influences of other bands like U2 and out of the AOR the band recorded in their music. On Breakin ' All the Rules can even find a Bon Jovi cover.
