Red Chute is a settlement on community- free area in Bossier Parish in the U.S. state of Louisiana. For statistical purposes, the place has been combined to form a census-designated place (CDP). In 2010, Red Chute had 6261 inhabitants.
Red Chute is part of the metropolitan area of Shreveport- Bossier City on the Red River.
Geography
Red Chute is located in northwest Louisiana, 10 km east of the Red River, near the border with Arkansas to the north and Texas to the west. The geographic coordinates of Red Chute 32 ° 33'22 " north latitude and 93 ° 36'48 " west longitude. The site covers an area of 24.1 km ².
