Redwood Valley AVA

Redwood Valley AVA ( recognized since 23 December 1996) is an American Viticultural Area in the U.S. state of California. The area is located in the administrative area of ​​Mendocino County near the town of Ukiah. To the east, the vineyards of Potter Valley AVA joins. The first vineyards of the wine region with a protected designation of origin ( = American Viticultural Area ) were created in the 19th century by immigrants of Italian descent.
