René Vandereycken

René Vandereycken ( born July 22, 1953 in Spalbeek ) is a Belgian football manager and former football player. Since April 2009 he has been without a club.

Playing career

René Vandereycken began his professional career in 1971 at the Belgian club KSC Hasselt unterklassigen. In the summer of 1974, the former midfielder joined the Belgian top club FC Bruges. In seven years in Bruges he could win with the team in 1976, 1977, 1978 and 1980 the championship. In addition to the Cup success in 1977, when you made ​​the double perfect this season. Vandereycken took as a player with the Belgian national team at the European Championship in 1980, the 1982 World Cup, the European Championships in 1984 and the 1986 World Cup in part.

Coaching career
