Richard Dornbush

Richard Dornbush ( born August 27, 1991 Corona, California) is an American figure skater who starts in a single run.

Dornbush began at the age of six years with the ice skating. He came by his three older sisters to do so. He is coached by Tammy Gambill.

In the 2010/11 season he won after winning the Cup of the Blue Swords in Dresden and the Grand Prix Final for Juniors in Beijing. In the U.S. Veterans Championships in January 2011 in Greensboro, North Carolina, he surprisingly won the silver medal behind Ryan Bradley. In the short program, he had stood in seventh place, but won the freestyle and thus improved still five places. He had established runners like Jeremy Abbott and Adam Rippon behind him and secured his first participation in the World Championships. In Moscow he won on his debut in ninth place and was the best Americans.
