Richard Green (Golfer)

Richard Green ( born February 19, 1971 in Williamstown, Victoria) is a left-handed Australian professional golfer on the European Tour and the PGA Tour of Australasia.

He became a professional golfer in 1992 and is a member of the European Tour since 1996. The first victory on the tour succeeded Green in 1997 the highly doped Dubai Desert Classic on spectacular Art He defeated the jump-off, the two major winner Greg Norman and Ian Woosnam. This also marked the first victory of a left-hander on the European Tour since 1975. He is married to his wife Anita and the two have a daughter. Green has residences in Melbourne and in England.
