Riede

Riede is a municipality in the district of Verden in Lower Saxony, west of Thedinghausen between Bremen and Bruchhausen- Vilsen. The municipality belongs with Blender, Emtinghausen and Thedinghausen to Samtgemeinde Thedinghausen.

Geography

Community structure

The municipality Riede still belong next to the vineyard villages Holy breakage and field.

History

The name comes from the vineyard valley sand areas of the Weser valley. At its northern edge Riede was founded. 1058 ride is first mentioned. The Gothic St. Andrew's Church in Vineyard was built around 1270 of brick.

The community was initially part of the old county county Hoya. On 1 July 1972, the congregation moved into the part of the district of Verden.

Incorporations

On 1 July 1972, the neighboring community field was incorporated.
