The girl from the city ( Original title: Road To Avonlea ) is a Canadian family series, which was created in seven seasons and 92 episodes on the book of the writer Lucy Maud Montgomery between 1989 and 1996.

Action

Montreal, at the beginning of the 20th century:

The orphan Sara Stanley is sent by her father, who has fallen into economic problems to her aunts, Hetty and Olivia in the small town of Avonlea on Prince Edward Iceland. The conservative and strict Hetty and the digested Olivia gradually gain confidence Sarah.

Also this slowly begins to see her cousin Felix and her cousin Felicity friends. Together they spend a carefree youth of adventure.
