Robin Lopez

Robin Lopez ( born April 1, 1988 in North Hollywood, California) is an American professional basketball player who is currently active for the Portland Trail Blazers. His twin brother Brook Lopez also plays in the NBA for the Brooklyn Nets.

College career

Robin Lopez played from 2006 to 2008 for two seasons for the in-house team of Stanford University, Stanford Cardinal. Here, he scored 8.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.3 shot blocks per game.

NBA career

When NBA Draft 2008 Robin Lopez was selected in 15th place of the Phoenix Suns. In his first year as a rookie, he was able to contribute an average of 3.1 points and 2.0 rebounds. Its operating time amounted to 10.2 minutes per game.

Robin Lopez was transferred in the summer of 2012 on the New Orleans Hornets. For the Hornets Lopez ran on until Summer 2013. After the expiration of his contract in New Orleans, he moved within the league to the Portland Trail Blazers.
