Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Arusha

The Archdiocese of Arusha (Latin: Archidioecesis Arushaensis ) is a location in Tanzania Roman Catholic archdiocese based in Arusha.

History

The Diocese of Arusha on March 1, 1963, Pope John XXIII. built out of territory of the Diocese of Moshi and the Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam is a suffragan. On 16 March 1999, the Diocese of Arusha was elevated by Pope John Paul II to the archbishopric.
