Roman Catholic Diocese of Kindu

The Diocese of Kindu (Latin: Dioecesis Kinduensis ) is a located in the Democratic Republic of the Congo Roman Catholic diocese based in Kindu.

History

The Diocese of Kindu was posted on April 23, 1956 by Pope Pius XII. built with the Apostolic Constitution Sedes Apostolica of annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate Kongolo and Stanleyville as a Vicariate Apostolic of Kindu. On November 10, 1959, the Vicariate Apostolic of Kindu was by Pope John XXIII. charged with the Apostolic Constitution Cum parvulum to the diocese and the Archdiocese of Bukavu is a suffragan.
