The Diocese of Limeira (Latin: Dioecesis Limeirensis ) is a located in Brazil Roman Catholic diocese based in Limeira in the state of São Paulo.

History

The Diocese of Limeira was posted on April 29, 1976 by ​​Pope Paul VI. built with the Apostolic Constitution En superna animarum out of territory of the Archdiocese of Campinas and Piracicaba of the diocese and the Archdiocese of Campinas is a suffragan. The Diocese of Limeira announced on December 23, 1997 from parts of its territory to the founding of the Diocese of Amparo.
