Roman Catholic Diocese of Piracicaba

The diocese of Piracicaba (Latin: Dioecesis Piracicabensis ) is a location in Brazil the Roman Catholic Diocese based in Piracicaba, state of São Paulo.

History

The Diocese of Piracicaba was born on February 26, 1944 by Pope Pius XII. built with the Apostolic Constitution Vigil Campinensis Ecclesiae out of territory of the diocese and the Archdiocese of Campinas São Paulo is a suffragan. On April 19, 1958, the Diocese of Piracicaba was the Archdiocese of Campinas is a suffragan. The Diocese of Piracicaba announced on April 29, 1976 from parts of its territory to the foundation of built by the Apostolic Constitution En superna animarum Diocese of Limeira.
