Roman Catholic Diocese of Ozieri

The Diocese of Ozieri (Latin: Dioecesis Bisarchiensis ) is a location in Sardinia diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Italy.

It belongs to the Ecclesiastical Province of Sassari in the Church Region of Sardinia and is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Sassari.

History

The diocese was established as a diocese Bisarchio in the 13th century and dissolved on 8 December 1503. 1804 was re-established under its old name and renamed on 12 February 1915 in the diocese of Ozieri.
