Roman Catholic Diocese of Tempio-Ampurias

The Diocese of Tempio - Ampurias (Latin: Dioecesis Templensis - Ampuriensis ) is a location in Sardinia diocese of the Roman Catholic Church.

It belongs to the Ecclesiastical Province of Sassari in the Church Region of Sardinia and is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Sassari.

History

The Diocese of Tempio was founded in the 4th century, the diocese Ampurias in the 12th century. On 30 September 1986, both dioceses were combined.
