Roman Catholic Diocese of Ales-Terralba

The Diocese of Ales - Terralba (Latin: Dioecesis Uxellensis - Terralbensis ) is a location in Sardinia diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Italy, based in Ales.

It belongs to the Ecclesiastical Province of Oristano in the Church Region of Sardinia and is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Oristano.

History

The Diocese of Ales was founded in the 7th century, the diocese Terralba in the 12th century. On December 8, 1503 both dioceses were combined.
