Royal Victoria DLR station

Royal Victoria is a station on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR ) in the London Borough London Borough of Newham. It is located in the Travelcard Zone 3 on the Victoria Dock Road in Canning Town district. The name comes from the now closed Royal Victoria Dock.

Was opened the station on 28 March 1994, together with the branch line towards Beckton. Parallel to the DLR route is the former route of the North London Line, which was shut down on December 9, 2006. However, the traits of this railway line is not held in Royal Victoria, there was no additional platform. About 200 meters further west was once the Tidal Basin Station. He had been opened in February 1858 by the Eastern Counties and Thames Junction Railway and was closed on 15 August 1943 for irreparable damage by bombs.

Since 28 June 2012 a transitional way to the Royal Docks Thames Emirates Air Line cable car station.
