Ruben Zackhras

Ruben Zackhras ( born December 4, 1947 the Ailinglaplap Atoll, Marshall Islands) was from October 21 to November 2, 2009 Acting President of the Marshall Islands. Zackhras was under President Amata Kabua Health Ministers of the Marshall Islands and was also a member of the Cabinet of Litokwa Tomeing.

Zackhras is a member of the United People 's Party ( UPP ).

After a vote of no confidence against Litokwa Tomeing he was appointed as Chairman of Parliament until the election of a successor to the incumbent president. October 26, 2009 Jure long Zedkaia was elected President of the Marshall Islands and sworn in on November 2.
