The Ruby Princess is the largest cruise ship in the Grand Class of the U.S. shipping company Princess Cruises a survey of 113 561 GT. It is the sister ship of the Crown Princess and the Emerald Princess and was built in 2008 under the hull number 6150 at Fincantieri in Trieste. The delivery took place on 23 October 2008 Carnival Corporation & plc and Princess Cruises. The naming ceremony took Trista and Ryan Sutter in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on November 6, 2008.

On board is its 19 decks space for a crew of 1200 people and up to 3080 passengers.

Shipping routes

The Ruby Princess is traveling in the Caribbean and in summer in the Mediterranean in winter. In the summer of 2014, it is, however, used in northern Europe, where it is mainly used for cruises to the British Isles and Norway to the North Cape.
