Rudy Gestede

Rudy Gestede (* 10 October 1988 in Essey -lès -Nancy ) is a Beninese - French footballer. Since 2013 he plays for Blackburn Rovers.

Rudy Gestede already played in the youth at FC Metz. In 2007 he was included in the squad of the professional team. His professional debut came on December 1, 2007, when he appeared as a substitute on matchday 16 of Ligue 1, against AJ Auxerre (0-1 ) in the 65th minute for Pascal Delhommeau. By the end of the 2007/08 season, where even the descent it was clear in the Ligue 2, Gestede came on for another ten inserts. In the Ligue 2 Gestede fought with Metz to the direct promotion back to Ligue 1 Gestede came in that season only five appearances. In the 2009/10 season the offensive player was awarded to AS Cannes. In the 2010/11 season he returned to Metz.

After eleven missions in which he scored the first three goals of his career, moved Gestede for season 2011/ 12 for the Welsh club Cardiff City, plays in the English second division.
