Rufin Anthony

Rufin Anthony ( born February 12, 1940 in Khushpur, Pakistan ) is a bishop of Islamabad - Rawalpindi.

Life

Rufin Anthony received on 29 June 1969, the sacrament of Holy Orders for the diocese of Faisalabad.

On 4 August 2009, he was named Pope Benedict XVI. the Coadjutor Bishop of Islamabad - Rawalpindi. The Apostolic Nuncio to Pakistan, Archbishop Adolfo Tito Yllana, donated to him on 21 September of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Faisalabad Joseph Coutts, and the Bishop of Islamabad - Rawalpindi, Anthony Theodore Lobo. On 18 February 2010 Rufin Anthony has been in succession by Anthony Theodore Lobo, who resigned for health reasons, Bishop of Islamabad - Rawalpindi. Rufin Anthony was on March 17, 2012 to July 3, 2013 also Apostolic Administrator of Faisalabad.
