Rural City of Murray Bridge

Murray Bridge is located in the Murraylands at the mouth of the River Murray into Lake Alexandrina. The area adjacent to the metropolitan area of the city of Adelaide and is located about 65 kilometers west of the city center. The LGA includes 52 districts and towns. The administrative headquarters of the council is located in the town of Murray Bridge in the north west of the LGA, which has about 14,000 inhabitants.

Management

The Council of Murray Bridge has ten members, nine Councillor elected by the residents of the three Wards ( three each from Brinkley, Mobi Long and Monarto Ward). These three districts are set independently of the villages. The Council President and Mayor ( Mayor ) is also elected by all residents of the LGA.
