Ryjice

Ryjice ( German Reindlitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers northeast of the center of Ústí nad Labem and belongs to Okres Ústí nad Labem.

Geography

Ryjice extends to the north of the linkselbischen part of the Bohemian Central Mountains at the foot of the castle ruins Blansko in the valley of the brook Neštěmický Potok ( Reindlitzer Bach). To the north rises the Blansko ( Blankenstein, 545 m), in the west of Farský vrch (520 m) and northwest of the Radešín ( Gratschen, 550 m).

Neighboring towns are Lipová, Slavošov and Blansko in the north, Dolni Mírkov and Mírkov in the northeast, Lužec and Mašovice in the east, Mojžíř the southeast, Neštěmice in the south, Krasne Brezno the southwest, Mlýniště and Žežice in the west and Sovolusky, Radešín and Libov in the northwest.

History

Vilas Rigici was first documented in 1186 as a possession of the Knights. It is not certain whether the village belonged to the forest areas around the mountain Chwogen, Povrly and Roztoky that in 1169 the Order left Vladislav II to colonize, or to the lands that Mesek and Hroznata Peruc of 1179 gave the Knights. After the construction of the castle Blankenstein Ryjice belonged from 1400 to their goods. Ryjice was originally a Slavic Rundling, lying on the site of today's sanatorium. After the Thirty Years' War, the valley was settled and there was intense over time, an elongated place that was divided into a foreground, middle ground and background village. One of the oldest buildings in the mill belonged Behind Reindlitz. In 1770 it came to heavy rainfall to landslides. Subsequently, the Reindlitzer Bach was regulated. In the village a monstrous, nine meters thick weir of 15 m height and 15 m crest length, which curbed the tearing effect of the stream was created.

After the abolition of patrimonial Reindlitz / Ryjice formed in 1850 a district of the political community Mörkau / Mirkov in the judicial district or county Aussig Aussig. In 1880 the church was Reindlitz. The situation in the criss-crossed by moist air currents northwestern valley led since the end of the 19th century to build three sanatoriums. 1895 was a worker convalescent home for lung patients and 1902 donated Helene Petschek, Helen home. The third home was built in 1906 by the area Bruderlade Brüx. 1921 was the village of 60 houses and 259 inhabitants had. 1930, Reindlitz 399 inhabitants, of whom was a strong Czech minority. In 1930, an artesian well was created that promotes from 43 m depth a warm tributaries fed by about 12 ° C warm water. After the Munich Agreement in 1938 Reindlitz slammed the German Reich and belonged until 1945 to the district of Usti nad Labem. 1939 the community had 254 inhabitants. In 1945 Ryjice back to Czechoslovakia, the German inhabitants were expelled. 1948, the community was the Okres assigned Ústí nad Labem - okolí and since 1961 it belongs again to Okres Ústí nad Labem. 1980 Ryjice was incorporated into Neštěmice and between 1986 and 1990 it was a district of Ústí nad Labem. Since 1 September 1990, the municipality Ryjice there again.
