Saint-Urbain, Finistère

Saint -Urbain ( Lannurvan Breton ) is a commune in the Finistère department of Brittany in the west with 1528 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Location

The village is located approximately 7 kilometers (km ) east of the Atlantic coast in the Bay of Brest. Brest is situated 18 km north- west of Paris and about 480 km to the east (in straight line ).

Infrastructure

  • In Daoulas there is a descent to the highway E 60 (Brest -Nantes ) and in Landerneau another on the E 50 (Brest - Rennes).
  • In Landerneau is a regional railway station on the railway line Brest- Rennes -Brest and Nantes. The train station of Brest is the end of TGV Atlantique to Paris.
  • In Brest is the regional airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne.
