Säkylä
Säkylä [ Säkylä ] is a municipality with 4632 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in south-western Finland. It is located approximately 200 kilometers northwest of the capital, Helsinki, on the eastern shore of the lake Pyhajarvi in the landscape Satakunta. More than a third of the municipal area is occupied by inland waters.
Community
The municipality consists Säkylä since 1869 and includes the towns of Uusikylä, iso- Säkylä, Korpi, Löytäne, Pyhäjoki, Vähä - Säkylä, Huovinrinne, iso- Vimma, Karhusuo, Sydänmaa and Moisio.

Others
Of great importance is the food industry, in particular the works of the company Lännen Tehtaat and HK Ruokatalo. The barracks in Huovinrinne is the location of the Pori Brigade ( porin Prikaati ), one of the most traditional Finnish army units. Part of Brigade among others, the Quick Reaction Force (Finnish Rapid Deployment Force, Finnish: Suomen Kansainvälinen Valmiusjoukko ) of the Finnish army.
