The Saling Township is the westernmost of eight townships in Audrain County in the central north east of the U.S. state of Missouri. In 2010, Saling Township had 1472 inhabitants.

Geography

The Saling Township is located approximately 95 km north of the Missouri River and some 120 kilometers west of the Mississippi River, which forms the border with Illinois.

The Saling Township is located at 39 ° 17 ' N, 92 ° 10' W39.284166666667 - 92.169722222222 and extends over 203.15 km ².

The Saling Township is located in the extreme west of the Audrain County and is bordered to the south by the Boone County, on the west by the Randolph County and north to the Monroe County. Within the Audrain County, the Wilson Township is bordered on the east by the Wilson Township.

Traffic

The southern boundary of the Saling Township form the Missouri State Routes 22 and 151 in the west to the east. The latter runs after crossing to the north through the whole territory of the Township. For all other roads within the Township is subordinate and partly unpaved roadways.
