Samger FC

The Samgar Football Club ( often in the press, " The Academy Boys" titled) is a football club from Serekunda - Kanifing in the West African nation of Gambia, the largest city in the country. The club plays in the top league in Gambian football, the GFA League First Division, and after walking down to the 2006 season in the GFA League Second Division after one year for the 2008 season resurfaced. The 2008 season was completed successfully with the second place, the championship was never won.

History

First appearance of Samgar FC came into the season 2004/ 05, at that time they played in the second division. The club is one of the Cherno Samba Academy, founded in 2003, is named after Cherno Samba, a successful Gambian players in the UK.

Training is the team of Jane Joof.
