Samy Deluxe
Samy Deluxe ( born December 19, 1977 in Hamburg; civil Samy worry) is a German rapper from Hamburg. He is also known under the name Samsemilia, Wickeda MC, The Big construction of the Nauf and Mr concern.
Biography
Samy Deluxe grew up in his mother's family, be derived from Sudan father left Germany when Samy was two years old. His origins and his life in Hamburg -Eimsbuettel without a biological father are playing a significant role in his lyrics today.
Earlier in his career rapping Samy Deluxe in English, but is known and successful he was only by rap and singing in German language. The first Dynamite deluxe album, deluxe sound system, published on Eimsbush / Buback, rose in April 2000, surprising fourth in the German album charts and sold over 150,000 copies. The accompanying tour and appearances at festivals ( Splash, Flash) brought the career breakthrough for Samy Deluxe. The formation Dynamite Deluxe separated between time (DJ Dynamite left the group ). Samy and drip brought their music then out under the name Samy Deluxe.
In 2001, the album Samy Deluxe was released. Ever since this album Samy final counts to the fixed sizes in the German hip -hop. Also internationally, was the then most famous rapper in Germany to attract attention. 2003 was developed in a joint project with Afrob ( his rap colleagues from Stuttgart), the album Who would have thought?, Which was chosen for this collaboration is the name ASD. Many of the beats in this and the next album Samy bought at an American producer ( inter alia by J Dilla, Diamond D and Waajeed ). In August 2004, the second solo album Verdammtnochma appeared! . This album also went straight to number two in the German album charts and spent three weeks in the Top Ten. In the same year he contributed a Rapstrophe for the German -language publication of the song Dip It Low with the U.S. singer Christina Milian, which was a commercial success mainly.
Samy Deluxe is now one of the most commercially successful German rapper and was the owner of the label Deluxe Records. He has sold to date, over a million records. Along with many other fellow musicians, especially of African descent, he has released the albums Light Culture ( 2001) and Am I My Brother's Keeper ( 2005 ) to draw attention to grievances relating to foreigners and on right-wing extremism. In addition, Samy Deluxe uses against AIDS. He shot a commercial for World AIDS Day 2006 under the theme Together against AIDS. Also at the World AIDS day 2007, 2008 and 2009, he became involved again with TV ads and poster campaigns.
In February 2005, he represented his home state at the Hamburg initiated by Stefan Raab Federal Vision Song Contest. There he was ranked 9 out of 16
2006 Samy Deluxe designed in collaboration with Reebok sneakers and one in collaboration with New Era cap a cap. He also published on 22 December 2006 the mixtape Deluxe from head to foot, on whose cover he designed the garments are depicted. 2007 followed by two more sneakers in collaboration with Reebok until 2008, 4 Reeboksneaker of Samy Deluxe series were created.
Samy Deluxe 2007 was in several TV shows, including Christiansen, a guest and discussed there about the situation of young people and their relationships to the older generation. On 19 December 2008, appeared the Deluxe Records Label Sampler No.2 under the name Honey, I shrunk the label, it represented were Ali A $, TUA and Samy Deluxe himself, the last three artists of the DLX camps, whereupon also Its name derives.
2009 Samy Deluxe released his third studio album, Dis where I Herkomm, which debuted at # 3 on the album charts. Then in the same year appeared his mixtape The Last Dance. In 2010, then also a live version of Dis appeared where I Herkomm.
On June 16, 2011 Samy announced on his website on his new studio album, Black and White, which was released on 29 July 2011. The first single for the album entitled hands high and is available for download since 16 June 2011. On 1 August 2011 the first single, poetry album rose to number 63 of the German Top 100. Black and White debuted at No. 1 on the German album charts on August 8, 2011.
Samy Deluxe is committed to reading and writing skills. As part of the campaign iCHANCE, which is carried out by the Federation Literacy and basic education, he speaks out against illiteracy and would like to encourage those affected.
In the September / October 2011 edition of the magazine Juice ( No. 138) is the Juice Exclusive EP by Samy Deluxe, called construction Kingskis late night sessions with a total of 10 tracks, included. In the years 2012 and 2013 Samy Deluxe stepped under the pseudonym Lord to worry and released the album Conspiracy with beautiful melodies, which is characterized by much singing and the high use of Auto-Tune. The fifth, or sixth if you count the album under the pseudonym Mr. concern, Studio album by Samy Deluxe is Male bear the name and appear on 21 March 2014. Samy Deluxe, together with the Soul / R & B singer Brooke Russell a son, Elijah Malik Russell. They married in 2001, but are now divorced.
