San Giovanni Suergiu

San Giovanni Suergiu is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 6097 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Carbonia -Iglesias in Sardinia. The community is located about 5 kilometers south of Carbonia and Iglesias approximately 22.5 kilometers south of the Parco della Sardegna Ambientale Geominerario Storico ed. San Giovanni Suergiu is a municipality on the Mediterranean.

Traffic

Through the community lead the Strada Statale 126 Sud Occidentale Sarda and the Strada Statale 195 Sulcitana. The train station of San Giovanni Suergiu served as nodes for the railway line towards Iglesias, which was set by now, and the route of siliqua Calasetta. Also, this route has now been decommissioned.
